Terms of Service

Last Updated: April 29, 2026

Effective Date: April 29, 2026

ItemFort Ltd. Liability Co., a Wyoming Limited Liability Company. Website: itemfort.com

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ItemFort.com, including our website, marketplace, Steam-connected item delivery tools, supplier tools, support services, and related features.

By accessing or using ItemFort, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund & Delivery Policy, Supplier Terms if you supply items to us, Supplier Payout & Compliance Notice, Cookie Policy, Giveaway Rules if you participate in giveaways, and any other policy posted on the Platform.

If you do not agree, do not use ItemFort.

1. Company and Platform Model

ItemFort Ltd. Liability Co. operates ItemFort.com as an online digital item resale platform for supported virtual game items, including Team Fortress 2 items and, in the future, other supported game items.

ItemFort operates as the merchant of record and principal seller for buyer transactions on the Platform. When a buyer purchases a supported Virtual Item through ItemFort, the buyer purchases the applicable delivery or transfer transaction from ItemFort, not directly from another user.

Suppliers may transfer eligible Virtual Items to ItemFort-controlled Steam bot accounts before listing. ItemFort may hold practical platform-level control of such Virtual Items through those Steam bot accounts for listing, delivery, return, review, or resale. If a Virtual Item sells, ItemFort owes the supplier a commercial supplier payable under the Supplier Terms.

Buyers do not pay suppliers directly. Suppliers do not receive buyer funds. ItemFort does not operate as a user-to-user payment service.

ItemFort does not operate a general-purpose wallet, bank account, crypto exchange, escrow account, or user-to-user payment service. Customers may load closed-loop Store Balance by paying ItemFort (including by card or cryptocurrency merchant payment). Store Balance can be used only to purchase from ItemFort, is not withdrawable, and is not transferable to other users.

2. Eligibility

You may browse public parts of the Platform subject to these Terms.

To make purchases, supply items, receive supplier payouts, participate in giveaways, or otherwise enter into transactions on ItemFort, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

Users under 18 may access only non-transactional parts of the Platform with involvement and permission from a parent or legal guardian. Any payment, purchase, supplier activity, payout request, or giveaway entry must be made only by a person who is at least 18 years old, or by a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.

You may not use ItemFort if you are located in, ordinarily resident in, organized under the laws of, accessing the Platform from, or using payment or payout methods associated with a restricted or sanctioned jurisdiction.

You also may not use ItemFort if you are subject to sanctions, export restrictions, legal prohibitions, payment processor restrictions, payout provider restrictions, or other compliance restrictions.

ItemFort may refuse access, restrict features, cancel transactions, block payments, reject payouts, hold Virtual Items, or suspend accounts where required or reasonably appropriate for legal, sanctions, fraud, compliance, payment processor, payout provider, or platform integrity reasons.

3. Steam Account Connection

ItemFort uses Steam authentication, Steam inventory information, Steam trade URLs, Steam trade functionality, and ItemFort-controlled Steam bot accounts to support listing, transfer, return, and delivery of supported Virtual Items.

ItemFort is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Valve Corporation, Steam, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, or any game publisher.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account, Steam Guard, email account, devices, credentials, trade URL, and account settings. ItemFort will never ask for your Steam password.

You authorize ItemFort to use the Steam information you provide or make available, including your Steam ID, public profile data, public inventory information, trade URL, and trade status information, solely to operate the Platform, process item transfers, deliver items, prevent fraud, perform compliance checks, and provide support.

ItemFort is not responsible for losses caused by compromised Steam accounts, incorrect trade URLs, disabled Steam Guard, trade holds, account restrictions, Steam API issues, account bans, inventory restrictions, Steam downtime, Valve actions, publisher actions, or third-party platform issues outside ItemFort's reasonable control.

4. Virtual Items and Steam-Controlled Rights

For purposes of these Terms, "Virtual Item" means a supported in-game item, skin, digital item, inventory item, license right, access right, entitlement, or similar digital content associated with a Steam account and supported by ItemFort.

Virtual Items are created, issued, maintained, controlled, modified, restricted, and governed by Valve Corporation, Steam, applicable game publishers, and their respective terms, including the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

Virtual Items are not physical goods, legal tender, currency, stored value, e-money, securities, commodities, financial instruments, deposits, or cash equivalents.

ItemFort does not claim ownership of Valve, Steam, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, or any game publisher intellectual property, content, software, accounts, inventories, item data, images, names, or related rights.

A transaction on ItemFort concerns only the commercial purchase, sale, listing, transfer, delivery, return, or payout arrangement related to a supported Virtual Item as reflected in Steam inventory systems and transferable through Steam functionality. Any rights a user may have in or to a Virtual Item are limited by Steam, Valve, applicable game publisher terms, technical restrictions, account restrictions, trade restrictions, and applicable law.

5. Platform Control Through Steam Bot Accounts

When a supplier transfers a Virtual Item to an ItemFort-designated Steam bot account, the supplier uses Steam functionality to move the Virtual Item from the supplier's Steam account to a Steam account controlled by ItemFort.

After Steam confirms the trade, ItemFort has practical platform-level control over the Virtual Item through the relevant ItemFort-controlled Steam bot account, subject at all times to Steam, Valve, applicable game publisher terms, Steam technical restrictions, trade restrictions, account restrictions, inventory restrictions, and third-party platform actions.

For clarity, ItemFort's control of a Virtual Item in an ItemFort-controlled Steam bot account does not mean that ItemFort owns Valve's or any game publisher's intellectual property, underlying game content, Steam systems, Steam account infrastructure, item artwork, item names, or any rights greater than those recognized by Steam functionality and applicable platform terms.

6. Buyer Purchases

Buyers purchase from ItemFort the delivery or transfer of the selected Virtual Item to the buyer's Steam account through Steam functionality.

Buyer-facing prices are determined by ItemFort. Supplier minimum payout preferences may affect whether an item is eligible for sale, but ItemFort controls the final buyer-facing price.

ItemFort may change prices, run promotions, discount items, delist items, reject purchases, or cancel orders at its discretion, provided that supplier payout obligations are handled according to the Supplier Terms.

Buyer payments are processed by third-party payment service providers, including Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay may be available through Stripe where supported. ItemFort may also accept cryptocurrency as a merchant payment to ItemFort for a retail purchase or a Store Balance load.

ItemFort may add, remove, or change supported payment methods at any time.

Customers may pay for a specific item order at checkout or load closed-loop Store Balance to use on later purchases from ItemFort. Store Balance is not a cash account: it cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed as cryptocurrency.

7. Checkout and Taxes

Before completing checkout, buyers should be shown the item, price, applicable taxes, fees if any, supported payment method, applicable terms, and digital delivery acknowledgements where required.

You authorize ItemFort and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.

Taxes may be calculated, collected, and remitted where required by applicable law. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges that apply to your purchases except where ItemFort is required to collect them.

ItemFort may cancel or refuse an order if payment fails, fraud checks fail, the item becomes unavailable, delivery is not possible, the transaction violates these Terms, the transaction appears suspicious, or a payment processor requires or recommends cancellation.

8. Digital Delivery

ItemFort delivers purchased Virtual Items digitally through Steam trade functionality or other supported delivery tools.

Delivery is considered complete when the Virtual Item is successfully transferred to the buyer's Steam account, accepted through Steam, or otherwise made available through the applicable delivery mechanism.

If delivery fails due to a temporary Steam issue, bot issue, incorrect trade URL, trade hold, Steam Guard issue, account restriction, or technical error, ItemFort may retry delivery, request that you update your trade URL, ask you to resend or accept a trade, hold the order while the issue is investigated, cancel the order, refund the order if delivery cannot reasonably be completed, or provide another reasonable support resolution.

You are responsible for ensuring that your Steam account can receive trades before purchasing.

9. EU/UK Digital Content Acknowledgement

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with withdrawal rights for digital content, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain purchases.

Because ItemFort sells digital content and delivery may begin immediately after checkout, you may be required at checkout to expressly request immediate digital delivery and acknowledge that you lose any applicable right of withdrawal once delivery begins or is completed, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

10. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Delivery Policy.

In general, completed digital item sales are final once delivery is confirmed. Refunds may be available only in limited circumstances, including duplicate charges, failed delivery that cannot reasonably be resolved, confirmed unauthorized transactions, pre-delivery order cancellation by ItemFort, or where required by law.

Refunds, when approved, are issued only to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law or the payment processor.

ItemFort does not operate a general-purpose wallet, remittance product, or user-to-user transfer service. If closed-loop Store Balance is enabled, it is purchasing value usable only for purchases from ItemFort, is not withdrawable, and is not transferable. Policy credits to Store Balance, if any, are not cash-outs. Whether Store Balance is offered, and how refunds interact with it, remains subject to counsel and payment-provider review.

ItemFort is not responsible for losses caused by Steam trade reversals, Steam account locks, Steam inventory restrictions, Valve or publisher actions, market price changes, buyer remorse, mistaken purchases, or changes in item desirability after delivery.

11. Supplier Activity

If you transfer Virtual Items to ItemFort for listing, resale, return, or payout, you are acting as a supplier and are subject to the Supplier Terms.

Suppliers transfer Virtual Items to ItemFort-controlled Steam bot accounts before listing. ItemFort may hold practical platform-level control of supplied Virtual Items before sale. Suppliers may cancel a listing and request return of an unsold Virtual Item before sale, subject to Steam availability, trade eligibility, fraud review, technical limitations, compliance checks, and ItemFort's risk controls.

If a Virtual Item sells, the supplier becomes eligible for a supplier payable according to the Supplier Terms. Supplier payables are commercial amounts owed by ItemFort for supplied Virtual Items. They are not buyer funds, stored value, deposits, wallet balances, e-money, escrow, or funds held for transmission.

Supplier payables may be subject to review, hold periods, minimum payout thresholds, payout provider requirements, tax information requirements, compliance screening, and fraud controls.

12. Giveaways

ItemFort may offer promotional giveaways involving Virtual Items. Giveaways are promotional activities only and are governed by the Giveaway Rules.

ItemFort does not offer gambling, betting, wagering, raffles, mystery boxes, paid sweepstakes, casino-style games, or games of chance requiring payment to participate.

No purchase is required to enter ItemFort giveaways unless a specific promotion states otherwise and such structure is legally permitted. Giveaways have no cash alternative unless ItemFort expressly states otherwise.

13. Features Not Offered at Launch

At launch, ItemFort does not offer:

  • a general-purpose withdrawable wallet;
  • user-to-user transfers;

ItemFort may add or remove features in the future, subject to updated terms, compliance review, and payment processor approval where applicable.

14. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • use ItemFort for money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, terrorist financing, payment abuse, card testing, chargeback abuse, or value-transfer schemes;
  • use stolen, hacked, phished, duplicated, exploited, fraudulently obtained, restricted, disputed, or unauthorized Virtual Items;

  • use purchases, Virtual Items, supplier submissions, payables, payouts, returns, or platform features to create a direct or indirect cash-out, value transfer, laundering, arbitrage, payment-circumvention, or sanctions-evasion scheme.

15. Fraud, Sanctions, and Compliance Controls

ItemFort may conduct risk-based fraud, sanctions, transaction, account, device, location, payment, Steam, item, and supplier reviews.

ItemFort may delay, cancel, reject, reverse, hold, review, or restrict any purchase, delivery, item return, supplier payable, payout request, account, or Virtual Item if we believe it may involve fraud, illegality, sanctions risk, unauthorized activity, payment risk, stolen items, publisher restrictions, Steam restrictions, or breach of these Terms.

ItemFort may request information from you directly or through third-party providers, including payout providers such as Tipalti or Payoneer. Failure to provide requested information may result in restricted access, delayed payouts, rejected transactions, item holds, account suspension, or termination.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

ItemFort may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time if we believe:

  • you violated these Terms or another ItemFort policy;
  • you created legal, payment, fraud, sanctions, tax, operational, or platform risk;
  • your account is compromised;
  • your activity is suspicious or inconsistent with normal use;
  • your Steam account, trade URL, payment method, or payout information creates risk;
  • a payment processor, payout provider, law enforcement agency, regulator, platform partner, or legal process requires or recommends action.

Where reasonable and lawful, ItemFort will attempt to notify you. However, ItemFort may withhold detailed reasons where disclosure would create security, fraud, legal, sanctions, compliance, or platform integrity risk.

17. Intellectual Property

ItemFort owns or licenses the Platform, website design, logos, text, software, code, graphics, trade names, marks, and related content, excluding third-party marks and game-related assets.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Platform except as expressly allowed by ItemFort.

Valve, Steam, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, and related names, marks, images, and item references belong to their respective owners. ItemFort uses such references only to identify compatible Virtual Items and services.

18. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

ItemFort does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free service, constant item availability, stable prices, permanent publisher support, Steam availability, payout availability, provider availability, or successful delivery where issues are caused by third parties or user-side errors.

ItemFort is not responsible for Steam outages, Valve actions, game publisher actions, API failures, bot trade restrictions, payment processor outages, payout provider delays, bank delays, internet failures, cyberattacks, government actions, force majeure events, or other events outside ItemFort's reasonable control.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ItemFort will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of Virtual Items, loss of account access, market price changes, payout delays, or loss of opportunity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ItemFort's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of:

  1. USD $100; or
  2. the amount you paid to ItemFort for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ItemFort Ltd. Liability Co., its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, damages, penalties, chargebacks, dispute fees, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your misuse of the Platform;
  • your violation of law;
  • your violation of Steam, Valve, or game publisher rules;
  • your submission or sale of unauthorized, stolen, restricted, disputed, or fraudulently obtained Virtual Items;
  • your unauthorized payment activity;
  • your tax, payout, or supplier obligations;
  • your false or misleading information.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

For users located in the United States, disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration unless you are eligible to bring a claim in small claims court. Class actions, collective actions, and representative actions are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law.

For users outside the United States, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory rights, or local legal protections that cannot be waived.

22. Changes to These Terms

ItemFort may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform or communicated by email or account notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of ItemFort after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
