Trading TF2 items on ItemFort

What the 4% store fee covers

ItemFort takes a flat 4% of the sale price when a listing sells. There is no listing fee, no fee to deposit items, and no separate withdrawal cut on the sale itself — the number quoted on the listing form is the number applied at settlement.

That 4% covers the bot fleet that holds and delivers inventory, the Steam trade automation, fraud and sanctions screening, and support. For comparison, the Steam Community Market takes 15% on Team Fortress 2 items (a 5% Steam fee plus a 10% game fee) and pays out to a Steam wallet that cannot be cashed out.

How bot-assisted Steam delivery works

Every trade runs through ItemFort trading bots rather than directly between two users, so neither side has to be online at the same time or trust the other to send first.

  1. Sign in with Steam and add your trade link to your account.
  2. Sellers deposit items: a bot sends you a Steam trade offer, and the items are listed once you accept it.
  3. Buyers check out from live listings and pay from their ItemFort balance.
  4. A bot holding the purchased item sends the buyer a trade offer automatically.
  5. Accept the offer in Steam and the item lands in your inventory.

Which TF2 items are supported

The market is built around the categories that actually carry Team Fortress 2 trade volume: unusual hats and their effects, Strange weapons and Strange Parts, Australium weapons, Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys and refined metal, killstreak kits, war paints, and standard cosmetics.

Filters run across quality, unusual effect, killstreak tier, wear, craftability and price, so a search can be narrowed to one specific variant rather than scrolling a single undifferentiated list.

How suggested prices are set

Listings show a suggested price alongside a Steam Community Market reference so a seller can see both before choosing a number. The suggestion is a reference price converted at the median of recent Mann Co. Supply Crate Key sales on the Steam Community Market, and the Steam reference comes from Steam Community Market listing data.

Neither figure is binding. Sellers set their own listing price, and the expected proceeds after the 4% fee are shown before a listing is published.
